June 29, 20241 min read

This past week was filled with dynamic discussions and community engagement, focusing on economic growth and political advocacy.

Axios Round Table Dinner

On Wednesday, I had the privilege of joining Axios and local leaders across various sectors, including small business, economic development, and policy. We engaged in a lively conversation exploring how government and small business can collaborate to support the continued growth and success of the economic landscape in Richmond and the surrounding areas. It was an inspiring and productive discussion, highlighting the importance of partnership and community involvement in driving economic progress.

Biden-Harris Campaign Black Women's Happy Hour

Friday provided another excellent opportunity for engagement as my team and I joined the Biden-Harris Richmond campaign at a Black Women's happy hour and post-debate discussion. This event allowed us to have meaningful conversations about the recent debate and discuss how the campaign can effectively support messaging to Black women and the larger community. It was a productive session, emphasizing the need for inclusive dialogue and targeted communication strategies.

Stay Engaged and Informed

These events underscore the importance of community engagement and active participation in both economic and political spheres. I encourage everyone to stay informed and involved in these crucial discussions. Together, we can make significant strides in fostering a vibrant and inclusive community.
